The month of August brings with it Greenman Festival! We welcome everyone to our town, and it’s great to meet people who come and visit us every year…

We can’t leave here without mentioning the wildfires currently raging across Wales and England. The one on Llangynidr mountain has now been burning for over a month. We’d like to thank everyone involved in the effort to control it, and that’s a great many people: firefighters, farmers, contractors and everyone else who has pitched in. Thanks too to their families and employers, who have allowed them to focus on firefighting rather than their day jobs.
