We love our adventures and they wouldn’t be complete with our faithful, hairy friends….yup, we’re talking about our dogs. Our boy has been a lifesaver during lockdown.
Here are some of our doggie essentials…..
What dog doesn’t like getting dirty? These Dog Robes from LifeVenture, Mountain Paws are made using a highly absorbent microfibre material which dries remarkably quickly. The velcro stops wriggly dogs from shaking off the towel and wraps them up to keep your dog nice and warm.
No one likes the idea of a dog sustaining an injury, especially while out on a long adventure where injuries need to be treated until you can reach a vet. Mountain Paws have developed a compact water-resistant Dog First Aid Kit to treat common injuries. It includes paw sleeves to protect any dressings or wounds, saline solutions for washing out wounds/eyes and even a thermal blanket just in case you need to keep your dog warm.
We’ve all been there…out for a lovely bimble with your hound when…horrors! They’ve found the only patch of fox poo there is for miles around, and doesn’t it smell attractive….?
We stock a no water, towel off dog shampoo especially for this! Just rub into the fur, lather up and clean off with a towel, clean and fresh smelling hound!
We have two varieties, one specially for the fox poo situation and one for general dirt. Packs of wipes are also available.

A useful tip…if dealing with the poo situation, best to use gloves and pull off any lumps of mess first and then apply the liquid.
